Well, the first paper is finished! My next one is due on Thursday and it is supposed to be about twenty pages. If you're anxious to read a real "page turner," here it is!

A Weekend Off

This weekend Andy was actually off Saturday and Sunday! We went out to dinner Friday night. Then, Saturday we took off for Raleigh. Unfortunately, the weather was not extremely cooperative, so we spent the first half of the day in a mall. But, after we had sufficiently supplemented our wardrobes, we drove into downtown and checked into a hotel. We spent the afternoon at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. We forgot the camera, so we don't have pictures, but we really enjoyed it. They have skeletons of whales hanging from the ceiling in one exhibit that really fascinated Andy. My favorite part was the brain exhibit. Did you know that when Albert Einstein died, his brain was preserved so it could be studied? One particular part of his brain was larger than any other known. After the museum, we stopped off for a snack and a drink, then went back to the hotel for a nap. We had found an Irish place right by the hotel, so we went over there there later in the evening for food and drink. We really had a great time!

Oak Hill Open

Last Friday was my school's golf tournament fundraiser. Overall, we raised over $2500 for the school and we had a great afternoon playing golf. My team even got a birdie!

Our Team Before We Hit the First Tee

Rebecca is a scary driver! I've been in a regular car with her and now a golf cart. I think it's safe to say I won't be doing that again soon!

Post-Birdie Celebration!
